Canvas & Clay: Owner
In August 2004 Anjale opened the doors of her Redondo Beach art studio as “KidsArt Redondo”, and earned a place as the premier art school in the city. After 9 years of serving the South Bay, she decided there was more to could offer the community, adding a state of the art clay studio right next door.
With clay classes and adult membership growing, she decided in 2013 to refresh the studio look, spaces, and business name. So “KidsArt Redondo” became “Canvas & Clay”, and the rest is creative history!
Today, in a studio just blocks from the Pacific Ocean, Anjale and her team of staff create a warm, friendly, and cheerful environment in which to teach children and adults the necessary artistic and life skills that will enable them to become fearlessly creative and deeply critical thinkers.
Striving to put art back into the hands of every child, Anjale has become an advocate for early arts education, extending her efforts to include enrichment programs in schools throughout the South Bay. She has also served the local community by developing art history based projects taught to almost 10,000 children in the Art at Your Fingertips, Gateway to Arts, and Art to Grow On Programs in the 2009-2012 school years.

Saw your show on the Style network & did a double take when I saw your name. I’m a professor & stay up late writing Met several Anjali’s but not never anyone with the exact spelling & pronunciation as my name. I also have an accent on the e at the end of my name. Good luck with life & work.
Anjalé
That is wild! I’ve never met anyone with my exact name either – I was named after an Anjali but my parents changed the ending because my middle name is Renee (also with an accent). Thanks for checking in, friend!
